another email...
GOD Is Busy
If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks!!!!!!
A United States Marine was attending some college Courses between assignments. He had completed missionsIn Iraq and Afghanistan . One of the courses had a professorWho was an avowed atheist, and a member of the ACLU.
One day the professor shocked the class when he came in..He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, GOD if you are realThen I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly15 min.' The lecture room fell silent.. You could hear a pin drop.Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, 'Here I am GOD, I'm still waiting.'
It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got Out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him;Knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold.
The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently. The other students were shocked and stunned, and sat thereLooking on in silence.
The professor eventually came to, Noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, 'WhatIn the world is the matter with you? 'Why did you do that?'
The Marine calmly replied, 'GOD was too busy today protectingAmerican soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupidStuff and act like an idiot. So He sent me.' The classroom erupted in cheers!
I so hope this is true LOL be even if not its fantastic!
recieved in an email and I agree :) thank you USA military :)
Rules for the Non-Military Make sure you read #13
Dear Civilians, 'We know that the current state of affairs in our great nation has many civilians up in arms and excited to join the military.
For those of you who can't join, you can still lend a hand. Here are a few of the areas where we would like your assistance:
1. The next time you see any adults talking (or wearing a hat) during the playing of the National Anthem - kick their ass.
2. When you witness, firsthand, someone burning the American Flag in protest - kick their ass.
3. Regardless of the rank they held while they served, pay the highest amount of respect to all veterans. If you see anyone doing otherwise, quietly pull l them aside and explain how these veterans fought for the very freedom they bask in every second. Enlighten them on the many sacrifices these veterans made to make this Nation great. Then hold them down while a disabled veteran kicks their ass.
4. If you were never in the military, DO NOT pretend that you were. Wearing battle dress uniforms (BDUs) or Jungle Fatigues, telling others that you used to be 'Special Forces'. Collecting GI Joe memorabilia, might have been okay when you were seven years old, now, it will only make you look stupid and get your ass kicked.
5. Next time you come across an *Air Force* member, do not ask them, 'Do you fly a jet?' Not everyone in the Air Force is a pilot. Such ignorance deserves an ass-kicking (children are exempt).
6. If you witness someone calling the *US Coast Guard* 'non-military', inform them of their mistake - and kick their ass.
7. Next time Old Glory (the US flag) prances by during a parade, get on your damn feet and pay homage to her by
placing your hand over your heart. Quietly thank the military member or veteran lucky enough to be carrying her of course, failure to do either of those could earn you a severe ass-kicking.
8. Don't try to discuss politics with a military member or veteran. We are Americans, and we all bleed the same,
regardless of our party affiliation. Our Chain of Command is to include our Commander-In-Chief (CIC).. The President (for those who didn't know) is our CIC regardless of political party. We have no inside track on what happens inside those big important buildings where all those representatives meet. All we know is that when those civilian representatives screw up the situation, they call upon the military to go straighten it out.. If you keep asking us the same stupid questions repeatedly, you will get your ass kicked..
9. 'Your mama wears combat boots' never made sense to me - stop saying it! If she did, she would most likely be a vet and therefore would kick your ass!
10. Bin Laden and the Taliban are not Communists, so stop saying 'Let's go kill those Commies!' And stop asking us where he is! Crystal balls are not standard issue in the military. That reminds me - if you see anyone calling those damn psychic phone numbers, let me know, so I can go kick their ass!
11. 'Flyboy' (*Air Force*), 'Jarhead' (*Marines*), 'Grunt' (*Army*), 'Squid' (*Navy*), 'Puddle Jumpers' (*Coast Guard*), etc., are terms of endearment we use describing each other. Unless you are a service member or vet, you have not
earned the right to use them. Using them could get your ass kicked.
12. Last, but not least, whether or not you become a member of the military, support our troops and their families.
Every Thanksgiving and religious holiday that you enjoy with family and friends, please remember that there are literally thousands of soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen far from home wishing they could be with their families. Thank God for our military and the sacrifices they make every day. Without them, our Country would get it's ass kicked.
'It's the Veteran, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press.'
'It's the Veteran, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.'
'It's the Veteran, not the community organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.'
'It's the Military who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag.'
AND ONE MORE:
13. If you ever see anyone either standing for or singing the national anthem in Spanish - KICK THEIR ASS..
ONE LAST THING: THANK YOU ACTIVE MILITARY & VETS!

wearing my emotions on my sleeve....
with that being said... Mother is back in the hospital... with CHF (congestive heart failure) again.
In the past month I have probably had one of the best conversations I have had in my life with mom, and she has gone over board to be nice to and help my kids (by sending them ALOT of money ) their Christmas and birthday presents already which in Cory's and Stephanie's case bought them a new washer and vacuum for their new house ... for Martha... well I am scared as to where she will spend hers but more than likely on her car... and the card that the checks came in ... was no guilt trips, no ugliness, no meanness, none of the usual from mom... even Martha commented on it....
Anyway I am grateful that she has been acting different but (all you nurses out there can FEEL where this is going right) the DON and I both have this feeling (she brought it up to me today with out knowing I had said it to my aunt the other week)
anyway.... Its not a good feeling and I have wondered for several YEARS how mom manages to come back from these things that a NORMAL person would have died from long ago... so now its time to call and get her update and I will come back here to post what I find out....
well its several hours later... mom talked an hour and would still be yakking if I had not told her I HAD to go...
she is still some what short of breath she is on 3 lpm of O2 and high doses 80 mg BID of Lasix ... with very good out put; her electrolytes are out of whack but, again I am not surprised...
her nurse seems to be of good heart but little nursing sense... and I so don't have the heart to tell her I am a nurse... and know more about what shes talking about than she did.
Sigh, I hate when moms in the hospital... cause getting info is hard...
ALSO.... either the DON or mom are having issues telling the truth and in this particular case I don't think it is mom... the DON said they tried to get mom to go to the ER and that mom refused... to which I politely reminded her that My phone is always on and even if mother refused (which mother would not cause she loves the attention of being in the ER) I am her guardian and they need to call me as mother is legally incompetent... SO THERE... BLAH.... and when i asked mom she adamantly denied being asked about the ER cause she would have gone ... in her own words "I was the one complaining about being sick and they would not do anything YES I would have gone to the ER"...
so on goes the drama of my life and dealings with my mother from afar...
Martha is home from work... it is nearly one am and we are going to go to the fair tomorrow durring the day as we have Bradley at 4 pm tomorrow.... so I am beat and ready to sleep ... Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for putting up with more in the continuing saga of my life...
PS... FATHER? DOD? OLD FART? where are you? is your phone broke? your computer down? you got broken fingers??? I have tried to call and nada.... has Jordan shared the swine flu with you guys??? is he better? Inquiring minds NEED to know.... love ya :) DYD!

I keep telling them if they would just listen and stay OUTSIDE where they belong they would live... all except for that HUGE spider that came off the roof outside... mike killed it :) then he went on the roof and used the leaf blower to remove the insane amounts of pine straw and leaves off the roof!
its supposed to rain today :) but not flood and i keep forgetting the fair is here.... hopefully wednesday evening Martha and I can go to the fair!
Have a wonderful Tuesday!

six months already!!!
yesterday (Saturday) Bradley was 6 months old... Half a year!!! man where has the time gone??? this kid is the light and joy of our lives and he is soooo much fun, but i have to put why this post did not make it to the computer on time... see we had an Emergency... I can not stand bugs... IN the house... its all my Dads fault you see because when we left my mothers house way back when, the first place we lived was bug and mouse infested... we did not live there long but it was enough to traumatise me against bugs forever.... and Friday evening there was a bug in my KITCHEN!
We had Bradley Friday night so the battle could not actually begin till Saturday morning and since I get so nuts over a bug IN the house I did not go to sleep till after 2 am... but the battle plans were laid.... Mike left early Saturday morning (around 12 NOON) to go to home depot and I left to take martha to work... then I came home and emptied the kitchen.... all the cabinets everything had to go.... just so you know this happens every spring and fall and in between as needed as the waterbugs do get in... mice do not since i was pregnant with martha and figured out how to stop them...
anyway by the time mike got back with the bug spray and sprayed the whole house every nook every cranny everything ceiling to floor... i had sorted out and decided that about half the JUNK i have accumulated has to go...then....
everything was washed and put back into its place just in time for our boy to arrive :) it was such a nice afternoon we came outside and played ... Bradley can make his walker go backwards, forwards and sideways as he pleases out side on the concrete and inside in the kitchen but he cant on the carpet yet....
any way.... the video was him in a talking mood and the rest of the pics are just Bradley being his cute adorable self... looking at my papa
intensity....he makes the funniest noises
looking like my momma here....every now and again you can see Stephanie in him :)
walking around the patio in my car.... and my HOT cowboy boots! papa sand these boots were made for walking to me !
My grandma is my favorite chew toy!
I get to bite all I want for now but when the teeth come..... NO NO NO
looking for something to get into ....
I do not like to sit for long I want to stand up and play
I can roll and scoot anywhere I want to go in a hurry and of course I am always Laughing...
I will be back early today and since it is so beautiful I will spend alot of time out side....
well my Brother is on the phone so have a wonderful blessed Sunday!!!

searching
i am in search of something... maybe my northern friends can help....
you know the feety pajamas that we get for our little kids??? well my 17 very soon to be 18 yr old wants feety pjs for her birthday which is the 28th ... if anyone out there knows somewhere that sells them in adult sizes... martha is 5 ft 3 and skinny she wears small and medium sizes and i would guess a medium would fit her well... anyway I would happily pay any PJ finder buyer shipper who could help me find her some feety pj's... here in the south just finding closed in shoes is a chore LOL so feety jammers are next to impossible in adult sizes...
thanks and please if you can help email me at peach867@yahoo.com or leave me a comment...
Happy Thursday....

the faster I go the behinder I get....
lets see where did i leave off... ode to snot i do believe...well the medinetisqueezey thing... helps Martha broke down and used it tonight as she has captured what ever it is i have and wanted to breathe through her nose again too.
The weekend was short and crazy ... on Saturday Martha had model/acting class and took two of the gowns ...then straight to work until after midnight... on Sunday she slept from about 1 am till 4 pm... I wanted to sleep late but as usual I woke up early and then we got Bradley early...
On Saturday night, Stephanie was in a wreck... they were in Harlem speed limit in Harlem is 35... she was not going 30 in the rain... the person in front of her slammed on their brakes... Stephanie slammed hers and slid on the rain soaked street into the back of the other car... the Nissan has a couple scratches and a small dent /crack on the bumper on the passenger side... the people in the car she hit were not wearing seatbelts, and they had 4 or 5 kids that they put into a different car before the police came.... one woman said she was hurting so they took her by ambulance to the er to be checked out...
My Grammie Carren came over with mommy to show my costume to Papa and Grandma and to tell us the stories of the car wreck and of course to grab a bottle and diaper change while out of the rain :) then I spent the night with my Grammie... we will let Bradley choose what name who gets when he is old enough but for now for OUR own confusion purposes ... we are grammie and grandma and our husbands both claim papa... just pronounced different... :)
IT was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Funny... she would not finish playing with me LOL.... I hope we get to play more tomorrow!
THEN.... when Martha got home she had to go to the bank to get her account changed... We were there an hour before the manager decided to help us because the ONE lady who could was helping someone else.... then we had to run to walmart after all... but we split up and ran in search of the items we needed ... never found some but anyway we got home at 529 and Stephanie drove up and 530 with Bradley .... so Perfect timing .... tonight Bradley had some green beans for supper and he liked them... then he kept trying to grab my glass so we broke out one of the sippy cups that we bought before he was born... put a few drops in the cup and let him go at it.... He loves his sippy and i have some super cute pics that I will have to load later from the other puter ***its Later and I have loaded pics :)

watching the good morning america thing on breast exam and showing breasts on tv. Grow up america... women need to know how to check their breasts... and its not like she was having sex on tv like you see in some reality shows and soaps... sheesh ... its boobs... and thankfully nice ones not B-Longs like i have ... sheesh...
