And the story goes likes this...
On Wednesday October 27th 2010 I was caught on video camera in the act of sending a text message...during my shift...at A Child's World. (A Daycare Facility) On Thursday October 28th 2010 I was terminated. I am thankful that it was handled in aprofessional manner... If I saw one of my ex supervisor's it wouldn't be an awkward situation. In fact, they will probably both be at my baby shower.  :) So anyways, I called the boyfriend/Baby Daddy and told him i got fired...HE LOST HIS EFFIN MIND! Went all crazy sayin "You're not dependable!" and "I can't count on you to get another job!" So in my mind I'm thinking,

"Okay A**Hole I'll show you!" So onward. On Friday, Ocotber 29th 2010, my wonderful wonderful mommy that takes such amazing care of me from a distance ever so greciously picked me up from school and drove me all around so I could pick up job applications. On Saturday and Sunday I filled out those applications. Monday November 1st 2010 from 3:00pm (afterschool) til around 6:00pm I drove everywhere. Up and down every street in town. I went to every hotel and restaurant, gas station, fast food joint, grocery store EVERYWHERE. Saying to myself I won't stop until I walk in and find something...somewhere...anything....ANYWHERE.
Pressing On. So on that fateful Monday evening, due to my many prayers (hopefully yours too) and my extreme persistence...I walked into Cracker Barrel (a dinein restaurant) holding an application asking to speak with a shift manager.  I got an IMMEDIATE interview. Take note: I have an extensive vocabulary that seemingly impresses my elders for whatever reason. I guess I owe mom a thank you for that too...it's her fault i love to read. and read so many books as a kid. Along with that vocab. I have a pretty face and memorable personality that i take well advantage of. It's not the interview that's the hard part...it's getting the interview. Also take note that I have had a grand total of four jobs in my 18 years...3 of which I have been terminated from- my resume isn't great. :/
Anyways after chatting it up with this man for about a half hour forty five minutes My charm eveidently took an effect and set up a second interview with a second shift manager...So today....that's Wednesday November 3, 2010, I had my interview at 5:00pm-which thankfully Mommy took me to---again---thanks mom. I walked in,shook this mans hand, talked for two seconds and was handed some information on uniforms. So From last thursday til this wednesday is the time span it took for me to find work. I would like to call that IM:ME:DI:ATE. So in spite of my boyfriend and his bull-I would like to shout to the mountains and everyone in between directed at him specifically and not those hearing the shouting....
[I'd like to see you do it Butthead!]
Anyways..this concludes my boasting. Thanks for your prayers for those of you whom prayed for my employment opportunities....Thanks to those who didn't for readin about it.
Love and comments-Martha Jean
